My name is Christian Corralejo.  I am a traditional and digital illustrator as well as an animator.  I enjoy working with pencil and paper, but am also skilled in digital illustration.  My experience in animation involves working with programs such as Adobe Flash, Maya, and After Effects.   With either traditional or digital illustration, I begin with a concept formulated in my mind and free style it into existence.  As the concept becomes visually clearer, I make gradual refinements until I’m satisfied with the illustration’s appearance. 

My original inspiration came from my love of animals but has expanded to creatures from science fiction and fantasy.  This fascination led me to the work of artists who have careers in creature design, such as Wayne Douglas Barlowe.

My primary ambition is to become a character/creature designer for movies and video games.  My ultimate dream, however, is to see my own stories and ideas brought to life through live action film and animation.
